Advancell appoints Raúl Díaz-Varela as the new President

The bio-technology company Advancell, in which Talde holds a stake, has appointed Raúl Díaz-Varela as the new President of the firm. Díaz-Varela has a Degree in Business Studies, an MBA from ESADE and a Master's in Foreign Trade from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

At present he is working for KERN Pharma, a company for which he has worked his entire career within the chemical-pharmaceutical industries of the group, having occupied positions of responsibility in Asia, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and since the year 1999, as Deputy CEO and CEO of KERN Pharma Spain. Díaz-Verela is also President of the AESEG, the trade association for the pharmaceutical generic medicine industry in Spain.
