Idoia Bengoa

Managing Partner

Idoia Bengoa currently serves on the boards of Talde Gestión, Burdinberri, AIT, and Discarlux.

Prior to her current roles, she spent more than 14 years with BBVA’s Industrial Group, where she oversaw investments in publicly listed and privately held companies, as well as U.S. private equity funds. Her responsibilities spanned the entire investment lifecycle, from investment analysis, structuring, and negotiation to divestments. She also managed an investment portfolio and served on the governing bodies of several investee companies.
She began her career at Arthur Andersen, where she spent five years as an auditor.

Idoia Bengoa holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto. She has also completed the BBVA Executive Development Program at IESE and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors and Administrators.

Jon Arosa

Partner Co-Director Private Equity

He currently serves on the boards of Talde Gestión, Burdinberri, Tegor, and Bemed-Jemed.

Previously, he spent five years at EBN Group in Madrid, a financial group comprising five savings banks, where he worked as an analyst in the Corporate Finance Department and as a fund manager in the Private Equity division.

He holds a degree in Economic Law from the University of Deusto, an MBA from Carlos III University of Madrid, a postgraduate diploma in International Business from the Guipúzcoa Chamber of Commerce, and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors.

Marc Baiget

Partner Co-Director Private Equity

He currently serves on the boards of Talde Gestión, AIT, AVS, and Discarlux.

He began his professional career at KPMG Corporate Finance, working in Barcelona and Madrid, where he gained more than 10 years of experience advising on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His work included business plan development, investment analysis, company valuations, and debt restructuring.

He subsequently spent two years in the Audit Department at Ernst & Young.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto. He has also completed several international courses in company valuation and M&A advisory, and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors.

Ricardo Junco

Director

He brings over 15 years of experience in private markets investing, having led more than 30 transactions and served on the boards of multiple companies.

He spent the majority of his career at Oquendo Capital, where he was Partner and Co-Head of Flex Capital / Junior Debt, and a member of the Investment Committee. He previously worked at Mercapital Private Equity as a Principal.

Earlier in his career, he held positions at Booz & Company, Morgan Stanley, and Deloitte. He was also awarded an ICEX scholarship, working at the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in New York and at UNESCO in Paris.

He holds an MBA from London Business School (Fundación Rafael del Pino Scholar), is a CFA Charterholder, and earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona.

Beatriz del Val

Director Private Debt

She began her career at BBVA in the Leveraged Finance division, where she spent five years working on acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions. She subsequently joined Banco Santander’s European Lending team, where she worked on syndicated lending and participated in European leveraged buyout (LBO) transactions.

She subsequently spent more than ten years at other international financial institutions, working in Investment Banking, with a focus on Structured Finance, and in Corporate Banking.

Prior to joining Talde, she headed the Bond Origination division within the Debt Capital Markets team at PKF Attest.

She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto (Deusto Business School) and holds a MiFID II financial adviser certification issued by CECABANK.

Esteban Fradua

Investment Director - Private Equity

Prior to joining Talde, he spent three years as an Investment Executive at Corpfin Capital, where he worked on corporate transactions, portfolio company management and investor relations.

Previously, he worked as an Associate in KPMG’s Corporate Finance division, conducting business valuations in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

He began his career as an Analyst in the Corporate Development department at Gamesa.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and an MBA from the same institution. He also completed the Advanced Programme in Structured Finance and Venture Capital at IE Business School and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Álvaro Videgain

Investment Director - Private Equity

He began his professional career in financial consulting for entities in the financial sector at Alvarez & Marsal and KPMG. He has over 15 years of experience, primarily working for private equity funds in transactions and portfolio management. 

He has been responsible for co-investments in Iberdrola Renovables for offshore projects and, prior to that, was part of JZ International, where he managed investment operations across all phases: analysis, structuring, negotiation, and portfolio management.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the Universidad Comercial de Deusto and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa.

Asís Malda

Investment Director - Private Debt

He built his professional career at Banco Santander, spending 14 years in the London, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, and Paris offices across various divisions. In his most recent role, he served as Credit Director for the Corporate & Investment Banking division in Paris.

He has extensive experience in collateral management, strategy, corporate operations, structured financing, and debt restructuring.

He holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country, an MBA from INSEAD, as well as the CFA and CAIA certifications, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University.

Ane Sáenz de Zaitegui

Investment Director - Private Debt

She has over 10 years of experience in project finance and financial advisory for infrastructure and energy projects in Latin America and Europe.

She has developed his career at leading firms such as Deloitte, Globalvia and COFIDES, where he has been involved in investment structuring and analysis, financial valuation and modelling, as well as debt and equity transactions for international projects.

She holds a double degree in Business Administration and Management and Law from the University of Deusto, and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Institute for Stock Exchange Studies.

Ignacio Madariaga

Investment Director - Private Equity

He has over 10 years of experience providing financial advisory services to companies and private equity funds in both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, with a particular focus on the due diligence phase.

Before joining Talde, he spent four years at Ernst & Young in the Strategy and Transactions division, working in the Frankfurt (Germany) and Zurich (Switzerland) offices, where he advised leading international private equity firms.

He began his professional career at Deloitte, where he spent six years in the M&A Transaction Services department.

He holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Deusto, as well as a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Institute of Stock Market Studies – IEB

Jon Ander Campos

Senior Associate - Private Equity

He previously worked as an M&A analyst at Abertis Infraestructuras, DC Advisory, and BBVA. At Abertis, he conducted investment analyses and monitored the performance of its business units across Europe and Latin America. At DC Advisory and BBVA, he was involved in M&A transactions, company valuations, financial modeling, and due diligence across the real estate, financial services, and industrial sectors.

He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), where he was awarded a scholarship to undertake part of his studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Amaia Orue-Echebarria

Senior Associate - Private Equity

Previously, she was an M&A associate at DC Advisory, specialising in sale and purchase transactions in different sectors such as industrial, consumer and education.

Subsequently, she worked at Fineco as an Investment Analyst in the Private Equity area, carrying out legal and economic-financial analyses related to the Private Equity strategy for the establishment of the Bidegiñ I fund, FILPE, and the identification and analysis of investment opportunities.

He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, specialising in Finance and Accounting, from Deusto Business School, as well as a programme in Management Development from the same institution.

Álvaro Diago Arteche

Associate - Private Equity

Before joining Talde, he was part of the M&A department at Sigrun Partners (now the Corporate Finance team at Renta 4 Banco), where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors.
Earlier in his career, he held positions in financial and strategic consulting at KPMG and Deloitte, respectively.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Organization from the University of Deusto, and a Master’s in Finance from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB).

Irene Gutiérrez

Associate - Private Equity

She previously worked as an Analyst at Najeti Capital, where she was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies, preparing financial reports, and assessing their financial performance.

She began her career in Accenture’s Financial Services practice, contributing to a range of consulting projects focused on the design and implementation of business solutions.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organization Engineering and an MBA from Comillas Pontifical University. She has also completed the Advanced Program in Structured Finance and Private Equity at IE Business School and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors.

Gaizka Lete

Associate - Private Equity

He began his professional career with an internship at Repsol, in the Corporate Venturing department, where he supported the monitoring of portfolio companies.

He later worked as an analyst and associate at the Kroll office in Amsterdam, participating in various projects related to company valuations and financial modeling for international clients across industries such as logistics, hospitality, and telecommunications. Among the most notable projects are the Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) assignments and the valuation of portfolio companies for various Private Equity firms.

He holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a Master's in Finance from the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M).

Diego Uriarte

Associate - Private Debt

He began his professional career at RS Corporate Finance, an M&A boutique specializing in the energy sector, where he participated in transactions on both the buy and sell sides. He subsequently worked in consulting for financial institutions, focusing on budget management for internal investments and the analysis and implementation of efficiency and process optimization initiatives.

He holds a dual degree in Business Administration and Management and Industrial Technology Engineering from the University of Deusto, as well as a Master’s degree in Management and Business Consulting from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE).

Daniel Irezabal

Associate - Private Debt

His professional career began at EY-Parthenon, the strategy consulting and corporate transactions arm of EY (Ernst & Young). Joining the firm through its rotational programme, he gained broad exposure to the different stages of corporate transaction processes.

Subsequently, he became part of the Valuations, Modelling and Macroeconomic Analysis team, working on company and asset valuation engagements and contributing to the development of financial models in the context of M&A processes, corporate transactions and audit engagements.

A graduate of University of Deusto, he holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and Industrial Technologies Engineering.

Aurkene Ziluaga

Associate and ESG Manager

She previously worked at Banco Banif in the Investment Funds Department.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the University of the Basque Country and a master’s degree in Stock Market Studies from the Institute of Options & Futures. She is certified by the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA) and holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Nerea Vázquez

Compliance and Internal Control Manager

Before joining Talde, she worked in the Regulatory Compliance department at Aiblu Servicios Profesionales, S.L., contributing to training initiatives, corporate criminal liability advisory, management system implementation, internal audits, and AML/CFT prevention.

She previously worked as a lawyer at Siemens Gamesa and Deloitte.

She holds a Law degree and a Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession from the University of Deusto, along with specialized training in Corporate and Criminal Compliance.

Laura Salcedo

Financial Director

She has built her professional career at Talde, where she initially spent four years in the Investment Analysis Department, contributing to the preparation of investment proposals, business valuations, and the monitoring of portfolio companies. She subsequently spent four years in the Finance Department, where she was responsible for reporting and supported the coordination of tax and legal matters, before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country.

Begoña López

Deputy Financial Director

She began her professional career at Mazars Auditores SLP in 2004, where she worked as an auditor for nearly ten years, serving clients of varying sizes across a range of sectors. She also participated in due diligence processes and bank refinancing transactions.

In 2015, she joined an SME in the metalworking sector in Bizkaia, where she served as Head of Finance and Administration.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a postgraduate certificate in Taxation, both from the University of the Basque Country, as well as a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Camilo José Cela University.

Her previous professional experience spans commercial operations, administrative management, and digital marketing, gained at C.H. Robinson International and Merkatu Digital. Her responsibilities included customer acquisition, administrative management, the development of online marketing strategies, the creation of e-commerce platforms, and web design.

She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Marketing, from Cámara Bilbao University Business School. She also holds a master’s degree in Marketing and Sales Management (GESCO) from ESIC and a master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Esden Business School.

Raquel González

Office Manager

She has over 20 years of experience as an Executive Assistant in both public and private organizations such as Tubacex, Fundación La Caixa, Elkargi, Reinoxmetal 2002, and Gym Internacional.

She has held high-responsibility roles providing direct support to the presidency and senior management. Her expertise includes agenda management, event coordination, institutional relations, and complex administrative tasks. She is recognized for her professionalism, organizational skills, and discretion.

She began her career at the University of Deusto and worked as Executive Secretary in the Department of Law and the Human Genome until 2002.

She completed the International Baccalaureate in the United States in 1992. In 1995, she earned a degree in Executive Secretarial Studies from the University of Deusto, where she also completed a course in Event Organization and Protocol in 2000. She further enhanced her skills with a course in Office Automation at Campos Academy in 2001.
